PRINZ is seeking a proactive Communications Advisor


With our wonderful communications advisor moving overseas, we are looking for a new person to join our small, friendly team in Parnell, Auckland. The role is full time, working from 8.30am-5.30pm, Monday to Friday.

This is an entry level role. It would suit a communications graduate looking to take the first steps in their career, someone with prior work experience who is keen to move into the public relations industry, or someone from a membership or industry organisation seeking a new challenge.

This is a varied and busy role centred on membership services. It involves taking calls, responding to emails promptly, and managing social media. Yes, it includes some administrative work - creating invoices, sending membership packs, and managing our CRM system and provider - however you'll also project manage several annual and monthly activities and work with the team on new initiatives. Relevant PRINZ courses and all PRINZ events are free to attend.

Our ideal candidate will have fantastic interpersonal skills, good time management, excellent attention to detail, be proactive and keen to learn. As we are a small team, the role involves a fair amount of autonomy and responsibility. An interest in the public relations industry is essential.

Interviews will take place from 27 February 2017 and the successful candidate will need to start mid-March to allow time for a handover period.
