Anthem expands its client service line-up with three new hires


Contemporary communications agency Anthem has strengthened its offering with the arrival of three new consultants in as many months: Brendan Boughen, senior account director; Ashleigh Gilchrist, account manager; and Rebecca Bradley, account executive.

Brendan Boughen has a 15-year career in public relations, working across a wide range of clients, predominantly in the technology, telecommunications and financial services industries. For the past three and a half years, he has worked as the Senior Communications Manager for Microsoft New Zealand and prior to Microsoft Brendan worked in communications agencies in New Zealand for eight years, leading on communications strategy, issues management, media relations, social media engagement and professional writing and content delivery.

Ashleigh Gilchrist has more than five years’ experience in strategic communications, public relations and journalism. Her background includes trade and magazine journalism, corporate event management and communications consulting specialising in stakeholder engagement and government relations. Ashleigh spent nearly three years as a communications consultant at a Melbourne agency which specialises in business industry advocacy. Prior to moving to Australia, Ashleigh was a journalist and events coordinator at ProMag Publishing.

Rebecca Bradley graduated from AUT in 2015 with a Bachelor in Communications – majoring in Public Relations. Rebecca kick-started her career with two consumer marketing agencies, developing her skills in media relations, marketing communication, social media management, event organisation and content creation. She has a keen interest in photography, blogging and hiking and walking – but not all at the same time!
