Carl has worked in the insights industry for nearly 30 years, is the author of nine books about research practice in New Zealand, and a regular contributor to Stuff , where he writes about ‘the social science of everyday phenomena’. He was previously the Chief Commissioner of the New Zealand Families Commission, and in 2017 he was re-elected to the Board of the Canterbury Employers’ Chamber of Commerce.
