Carl Davidson from Research First reminds us that we have to work with the brain's shortcuts if we're to succeed as communications professionals.

Come and learn about the psychology of attention and how our brains have changed in the internet age. Because in 2019, if we continue to do what we’ve always done, we will most assuredly not get what we have always got.

Carl Davidson, Chief Social Scientist, Research First

Carl has worked in the insights industry for nearly 30 years, is the author of nine books about research practice in New Zealand, and a regular contributor to Stuff , where he writes about ‘the social science of everyday phenomena’. He was previously the Chief Commissioner of the New Zealand Families Commission, and in 2017 he was re-elected to the Board of the Canterbury Employers’ Chamber of Commerce.
