Great leaders are great communicators - they inspire and motivate people to work together towards a common purpose. We all know leadership is an invaluable skill, and whether you want to become a leader yourself, or better support the leaders within your organisation - it’s important to know the key attributes and behaviours of great leaders.

Who better to talk to us about this subject, than an expert from the New Zealand Defence Force - an organisation that relies on effective leadership and which has perfected its leadership development programme during decades of training.

Attendees will hear from Commander Andrew McMillan, Director of the New Zealand Defence Force Institute of Leader Development. Not only does Andrew and his team provide training to military personnel, both here and overseas, they deliver short courses for civilians from all sectors. Andrew has kindly agreed to share some of his leadership experiences and explain how these relate to the Institute’s leadership model. If you’re interested in expanding your leadership skills, you won’t want to miss this insightful session.
