Event FAQs

If I can't attend do I still need to pay?

You can transfer your event attendance to a colleague or friend at any time. If you cancel five working days before an event we will provide a refund. If you are not able to attend and cannot give us five days notice we do require payment. This covers the catering and any other costs incurred in your registration as an attendee (see payment and cancellation policy).

Can I bring a colleague who isn't a member?

In most cases yes, please register them in advance in case the event is at capacity. You also need to check eligibility as some events are member-only.

Are events ever cancelled by PRINZ?

In very rare cases we cancel events due to low registrations. Please register early if you definitely want to attend, this will help ensure the event takes place.

Who do I contact if I want to suggest a speaker for a PRINZ event?

If the speaker is relevant for a breakfast or evening networking event please contact the relevant chair or regional rep in your area. If it is for the annual Conference or for a nationally relevant event please contact the office.

What times and days are the events?

Events are planned based on speaker availability and to offer a variety of options to suit member availability through the year. The days will differ and the timing may be breakfast, lunch or early evening events.

Do you accept event sponsorship?

Yes, we are happy to talk about options for this, please call 09 358 9804 or by email.

Do you consider holding your events at varied venues?

Yes, we are always keen to try new venues and offer a variety of locations to members. Please contact us if you have venue suggestions or availability. Corporate boardrooms or large spaces at members premises are other options we are happy to consider.

Is there a dress code for PRINZ events?

The dress code for PRINZ events varies, but unless it is an Awards Gala Dinner the dress code is your usual work attire which may range from corporate to casual.

Are courses ever cancelled by PRINZ?

In some cases we cancel courses due to low registrations. It is encouraged that you register for the course early if you want to attend, this will help ensure the course takes place.

I would like a course in my region, what should I do?

Contact info@prinz.org.nz with your suggestion and we will try and accommodate your request.

Do you provide food during the course?

Yes, if you have any special dietary requirements please be sure to contact info@prinz.org.nz so we can arrange appropriate catering for you.
