Video is an interactive and effective tool for communicating messages with an audience, especially as smartphones become increasingly integral to our daily lives. Think Facebook Live, Instagram and Messenger ‘Stories’, Snapchat, TikTok and of course, YouTube. Consumers have become reliant on these mediums for receiving news and updates, entertainment, and for staying connected with friends.

Despite the huge demand for video content, the process of creating, editing and publishing a video isn’t necessarily something all PR and Comms professionals are trained in. This one-hour course provides a straight-forward and practical introduction to video editing, whether you’re using your smartphone or tablet. Perfect for beginners and anyone wanting to refresh their skills.

This one-hour session begins at 12 pm, so feel free to bring your lunch!

Speaker

Baz Caitcheon

Baz leads Bazzacam as director/trainer of video content for a range of clients. As well as producing content, Baz trains organisations to shoot, edit and publish their own videos, on and from their iPhones and iPads.

PRINZ Learning Lunches

The Learning Lunch is a relaxed, informal networking event for PRINZ members. It is a chance for members to come together and exchange ideas and experiences, so we encourage our members to come along as we would love to hear your thoughts. There is no cost involved unless you wish to order coffee or lunch.
