Learning Lunch: Communicating in plain EnglishRegister Now
Please note: Learning Lunches are for PRINZ members only.
Did you know that although New Zealand has a 99% literacy rate, between 40% and 50% of all New Zealanders have a reading age lower than 12 and struggle with the printed materials they have to interact with in day to day life? How many of those people is your organisation trying to communicate with? And how effectively are you achieving it?
Plain English is integral to successfully connecting with almost all communities. But how much do we actually know about it? Bring your lunch and come have a casual chat with your peers about communicating in plain English.
Questions covered will include: Why do we do it? Who does it benefit? How do you know you’re achieving it? And what challenges do we all face?
PRINZ Learning Lunches
The Learning Lunch is a relaxed, informal networking event for PRINZ members. It is a chance for members to come together and exchange ideas and experiences, so we encourage our members to come along as we would love to hear your thoughts. There is no cost involved unless you wish to order coffee or lunch.
