Cliff Joiner, GM Communications, NZME

Jenna Waite-Leonard, Communication and Digital Experience Manager, Toi Ohomai Institute of Technology

Jenna is an experienced communication, digital and public relations practitioner with a diverse background spanning agency, government, corporate and non-profit sectors. She has built a solid reputation as a creative and results-driven senior manager, having spearheaded award-winning campaigns, including PRIA 2016 Government Campaign of the Year, and recently PRINZ 2020 Internal Communications Campaign of the Year. Spending much of her early adulthood living, working and travelling in developing countries, she has a particular nous for authentic relationship building and projects that work towards positive social change

Jill Dryden, FPRINZ, Head of Corporate Communications, Mango

Over her career Jill has worked across all communications for a wide range of blue chip and boutique international, national and local companies and organisations. With a strong focus on strategic planning, Jill has a deep understanding of stakeholder needs across a broad spectrum of sectors and industries. She is a multiple award winner for projects spanning marketing, corporate and internal comms along with special and sustained projects. Jill is a Fellow of the Public Relations Institute of New Zealand.

Phil Johnstone, Senior Advisor Strategic Relationships, Plant & Food Research

Phil has a range of PR and strategic relationship experience across the corporate, NGO and public sectors. He began his career as a Dominion and NZ Press Gallery reporter then spent 8 years in London promoting and defending BBC journalism. He won the 2002 PRINZ Supreme Award for a sustained Government relations initiative for Merck Sharp & Dohme NZ, and in 2015-6 made life interesting via volunteer comms stints in post-quake Nepal with the Red Cross and a global health charity. Phil and colleagues at Plant & Food Research won Gold in the Internal Communications category of the 2020 PRINZ Awards.
