Great photography is more portable now than it ever has been before. Unfortunately, so is crap photography. The more crap photography that's out there, the greater the impact of really excellent photography will be.
Join your Central Division colleagues for a photography skills Learning Lunch at The Treasury on Friday 22 March.
Hosted by local photographer Wayne Gamble, this afternoon session will focus on practical tips and tricks for planning a successful photoshoot.
Wayne is a photographer that focuses on great, portable photography. Wayne’s style reflects his intrepid and adventurous approach to life with the odd near-death experience. The result is photography that captures the unexpected and holds it in the memory's eye.
From meteorologist bio shots for Metservice, the Treasury Wharenui, to motorbikers for ACC, spending a little time getting the brief right up-front and having the right gear on the day can turn the average iPhone candid (that, let’s face it, probably would have happened without planning); into a storytelling image that’s also colour correct, sharp, and well composed; demonstrating your professionalism in the product that you provide to your leadership.
Wayne's visual art has been displayed in the Louvre Paris, Times Square NY, See Me Gallery NY and Miami Beach. When he isn't behind a camera, you'll find Wayne hard out on a Triumph Sprint or in the garage working on his 1942 Indian 741.
This one hour session begins at 12.30pm, so feel free to bring your lunch!
