The vast majority of crises are issues that could have been better managed and mitigated to ensure the proverbial never hits the fan.

In this session, our presenters will address how a trend can become an issue and an issue can become a risk. And they’ll talk through how to effectively work with your senior management team to manage risks and avert the majority of crises.

Lydia Aydon, executive director of public affairs at Waikato District Health Board, and Peta Goldsworthy, senior strategic manager at HMC Communications, will share case studies and stories from their varied careers. And you’ll walk away with some of their best tips for managing issues and preparing for crises.

Drinks and canapes on arrival, presentation begins at 5:30 pm.
