Communicating through change requires refined and focused use of all your talents as a communication professional. Change is one of those disruptive elements in a workplace that can cause anxieties, uncertainty and perceived threat – to senior manager and every employee in equal measure. These in turn can lead to low morale, loss of productivity, staff disengagement and even reputational risk.

And it is not the magnitude of change that matters – the change can be as significant as a total restructure, a new Chief Executive, the introduction of new ways of working or as seemingly innocuous as a new brand. Any change that affects how people feel within and about your organisation will require communication that is credible, consistent and responsive. It also requires a special focus on clarity.

This one day course provides guidance to communication professionals around key aspects of addressing the communication needs of change.

Participants will come away with a pragmatic understanding of the key elements of change communication and an outline of a tailored change communication plan for their own organisation.
