  • Andrew Park (Media Relations Manager, Financial Markets Authority)
  • Cathy O'Sullivan (Head of Digital Strategy, Bauer Media NZ)
  • Kathy Gieck (Head of Client Services, Anthem)

The media landscape has changed significantly over the last few years, and will continue to evolve – particularly with the impact of social media and rise in citizen journalism.

As public relations professionals, it’s imperative that we learn how to keep up, and stay on top of these changes.

In this session, we will explore and discuss the global and local shifts taking place across the media landscape, as well as the factors that are leading to these changes. Participants can expect to come away with a greater understanding of emerging trends and strategies to stay ahead of the game.

Drinks, canapes and networking on arrival. Presentation will begin at 6:15 pm.

Please note

  • This event is for young professionals with 1-5 years’ PR / communications experience and graduate members. It is not for PRINZ student members.
  • There will be parking available onsite after 5:30 pm.

About the PRINZ Young Professionals Group

The PRINZ Young Professionals Group was formed in October 2016, as a forum for young practitioners (with between 1-5 years’ PR / communications experience) to connect with and learn from their peers. Our semi-regular networking and learning events, are designed to provide young professionals with the opportunity to talk to and learn about the things that are most relevant (but not always openly discussed) at this early stage of their career.

If you are having trouble registering for this event or logging into your PRINZ account please contact PJ at membership@prinz.org.nz
