SenateSHJ named Asia-Pacific Corporate and Public Affairs Consultancy of the Year 2015

SenateSHJ has been named the 2015 Asia-Pacific Corporate and Public Affairs Consultancy of the Year by The Holmes Report – the international authority on communications consultancies.

The award is decided by a panel of 30 industry experts, and the process involved more than 100 face-to-face meetings with top public relations agencies across the region. It is the second time SenateSHJ has been honoured with a major award from The Holmes Report: in 2009 SenateSHJ was named Australasian Consultancy of the Year, as well as being a finalist in 2010 and 2012.

The Holmes Report citation recognised SenateSHJ’s growth, the expansion of its digital and social capabilities, its record of industry awards, and its focus on the highstakes, high-value sector of the market: reputation management, crisis and issues management, change communications, and public affairs. It also mentioned the success of SenateSHJ’s merger with PR Partners in New Zealand and the strong growth of its senior team.

SenateSHJ Chief Executive Neil Green says the award acknowledges the highquality strategic and creative work SenateSHJ has delivered in partnership with its clients, across Australasia’s private and public sectors.

“We have undergone strong growth in the last year, and this shows that the calibre of our work has kept pace. We are thrilled to be named Asia-Pacific Corporate and Public Affairs Consultancy of the Year – it’s an award that our whole team, and all of our clients, can share,” he said.

SenateSHJ was founded in 2003, and has since become one of Australasia’s largest independent communications and public relations agencies.

It employs nearly 60 communications specialists in Auckland, Christchurch, Melbourne, Sydney and Wellington, and at Kamber – its social, content and digital agency.

SenateSHJ specialises in strategic communications across a range of sectors, including energy, healthcare, infrastructure, finance, government, ICT and tourism.

Current clients include Statoil, BP Oil, CentrePort, VTNZ, NZ Transport Agency, Merck Sharpe, Amgen, AstraZeneca, Bayer, bioCSL, GlaxoSmithKline, Roche, Sydney Water, Silver Fern Farms, Stand Children’s Services, Payments NZ, EFIC, Allan Gray, TomTom and Waste Management New Zealand.
