Communicator of the Year

Christchurch Mayor, Bob Parker has been voted
Communicator of the Year for 2011.
Mayor Parker was nominated for his handling of the communication
around the 4 September 2010 earthquake in Christchurch

2009 PRINZ Communicator of the Year Andrew Becroft

The Public Relations Institute of New Zealand's
Communicator of the Year award is presented to
Principal Youth Court Judge Andrew Becroft, for his active,
articulate, passionate and persistent advocacy for youth justice.

2008 PRINZ Communicator of the Year Rob Fyfe

Air New Zealand CEO, Rob Fyfe has been voted
as Communicator of the Year for 2008. Nominations said,
"Leading Air New Zealand wasn't ever going to be easy,
a fact Rob Fyfe was well aware of when he took the role in 2005.
During his tenure Fyfe has faced a host of issues to test
his communications skills and leadership,
and no more so than in the past twelve months."

2007 PRINZ Communicator of the Year Dr Pita Sharples

The Communicator of the Year was awarded to Dr. Pita Sharples
at the Awards Dinner. He is co-leader for the Maori Party
and was elected to Parliament in 2005.
