Jacqui Bridges, Chair

Jacqui's career spans over twenty-five years across the spectrum of communications, from brand & product marketing, advertising and sponsorship through to media & public relations and corporate affairs. Her career has seen many opportunities and challenges - and brought home the vital importance of integrated communication, particularly during times of reputational crisis.

Jacqui leads the team responsible for the Treasury’s communications strategy, branding, and external and internal communications and engagement. She holds a BCA in Commercial Law and Marketing from Victoria University and the Certificate in Direct Marketing from the Marketing Association, and is also a member of IABC and APACD.

Angela Paul, FPRINZ

Angela is an accredited public relations practitioner and has worked in communications since 1996. She has a broad range of experience having worked in New Zealand, Malaysia and Australia. She has worked at PR consultancies, in the private sector, for several different government departments and as a freelance communications consultant. Angela has a BCA from Victoria University and a Postgrad Diploma in Communications Management from Massey University.


Annalie Brown, MPRINZ

Annalie Brown is the PR Director at Massey University based in Wellington where she is responsible for telling the fantastic Massey stories to the wider world through traditional and social media. An experienced communications practitioner with nearly 20 years under her belt (but she swears she never looks that old), Annalie held senior roles in the UK and United States before seeing sense and moving to New Zealand. Annalie completed the Chartered Institute of Public Relations Diploma and has a Masters in Corporate Communications from Leeds Beckett University.

Daniel Glover

Currently the Communications and Marketing Manager at the Cancer Society, he is an experienced, qualified and well-networked Senior Marketing and Communications leader and practitioner. He has high levels of both institutional and industry knowledge, a strong understanding of the machinery of government and respected working relationships with external suppliers.

Lily Ng

Lily is the Communications Advisor at the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners (Te Whare Tohu Rata o Aotearoa). In previous roles, she has worked for iwi organisations, structural engineers, theatre groups, printing specialists and a sushi restaurant. Lily holds a Bachelor of Communication from Massey University, New Zealand and a Certificate of East Asian Studies from Kwansei Gakuin University, Japan.


Raphael Hilbron

Raphael is the General Manager of SenateSHJ's Wellington office and Head of Energy and Resources Practice. He advises a range of private and public sector clients including Accident Compensation Corporation (ACC), CentrePort, Origin Energy, Shell and Statoil ASA.

An internationally-recognised communications practitioner, Raphael helps clients to successfully manage their reputations. Before joining SenateSHJ as an Associate Partner in 2008, Raphael was Head of Corporate Responsibility at Vodafone New Zealand and was seconded to Vodafone's global business in the UK for two years.

A former journalist, Raphael worked for The Dominion newspaper and in various public sector roles before moving into politics where he worked as a press secretary in former Prime Minister Jenny Shipley's office.

Raphael holds Law and Arts degrees from Victoria University of Wellington and New Zealand Certificate in Journalism.
