Jill Dryden has more than 20 years' experience in public relations and is an international and national multi award winning practitioner. She has managed one of New Zealand's largest consultancies and directed a diverse range of communications programmes for some of New Zealand's most recognisable corporate and marketing brands. Jill has presented crisis management training workshops for the legal profession as well as general PR training for PRINZ and AUT. Jill is a PRINZ Fellow.
Graeme Sterne is a senior lecturer in Communication and PR at Manukau Institute of Technology. He has a background in not for profit and community PR which has brought him into contact with a range of ethnic media in New Zealand including Indian, Chinese, Samoan, Tongan, Korean and Filipino.
Bronwen Jones is an independent consultant specialising in annual reporting, investor relations, stakeholder risk management and sustainability reporting. She is a former print journalist who moved into financial public relations while in Japan in 1987, handling the Tokyo marketing activities of several US and European trading exchanges as the head of a small Tokyo consultancy. She returned to New Zealand in late 1993 to do an MBA at Auckland University. She became a senior consultant at Network Communications, then a principal in PR consultancy Cause & Effect, and spent nearly five years as Group Manager Corporate Affairs for Ports of Auckland.
Andrew Melville is a director of Spoke Ltd, a communications and PR agency. He has a career spanning 30 years as a journalist, broadcaster, lecturer, PR manager and consultant. He has won a number of PR awards and has spoken at conferences and seminars in New Zealand, Australia and the US.
Norrey Simmons is a PRINZ Fellow and principal of Wellington consultancy Four Winds Communications since 1987. A past winner of Supreme PRINZ Award for Excellence, Norrey also serves as a board member for Business NZ and the Employers and Manufacturers (Central). She was public relations manager for MAF from 1983 to 1987.
Sioux Campbell has more than 20 years experience in print and radio journalism and community relations management. She specialises in environmental public relations, education and public involvement and is actively involved in community groups and processes.
Tim Marshall
Catherine Arrow has 30 years experience as a public relations practitioner, journalist and communicatorto share. Prior to her arrival in New Zealand, she ran her own award-winning independent public relations consultancy, serving clients in both the private and public sector. A Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (UK) and one of the first UK Accredited Practitioners, Catherine also undertakes the design and provision of training and professional development programmes for PRiNZ professionals and others around the world working to improve their skills. She specialises in the development and application of new communications channels, helping clients and organisations with on-line reputation management, e-comms and online public relations since the early 1990s and social media since its inception. A regular blogger, Catherine serves as a board member for the Global Alliance.
Fiona Cassidy
Elizabeth Hughes has worked in public and private sector communications for nearly 20 years. Drawing on experience working with staff from both small and large organisations, she is best known for innovation and communications achievements in the local government sector. Elizabeth has a degree in environmental management and post graduation qualifications in communications and managing business relationships.She is currently communication manager at Tauranga City Council, where she has been since 2002.
Rob Crabtree has over 25 years of experience to share.A public relations practitioner for 27 years, he is one of our most experienced consultants and trainers. Rob has worked in corporate management roles, as well as running his own consultancy. He was a radio and television broadcaster for 17 years. Rob is a Past President and Life Member of PRINZ.
Kathy Cunningham has more than 20 years' experience in directing successful events in New York City as well as in New Zealand. Kathy founded empire Public Relations and Events in 1992 and has managed large iconic events like the Devonport Food and Wine Festival, the inaugural Auckland Seafood Festival and the launch of New Zealand Book Month. Additional successful events managed by Kathy and her team include the premiere of 'Everest' for IMAX, opening Cadbury World in Dunedin, PR for the very first Hilton Hotel in NZ and "A Night With Strange Friends" benefit for Play It Strange.
