New channels and approaches are always challenging the way public relations and communications practitioners work.
Continuing Professional Development (CPD) is therefore key to career advancement. We provide various opportunities for practitioners to keep abreast of the changes and update skills through our courses. These are run through-out the year across the country.
CPD RIVER Programme
RIVER stands for:
- Response to profession
The RIVER Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points programme provides a structured approach to professional development.
Participants accrue points for activities undertaken and once their points target has been reached and validated, their Certificate of Practice is awarded by PRINZ.
Our divisional committees organise regular networking events across New Zealand.
These events feature guest speakers or panel discussions around thought provoking topics and trends that are of interest to the public relations practitioners.
They are an opportunity for PR practitioners to discuss key isuues and concerns of their industry; and network with their peers.
Events are held regularly in various locations.
