DB BREWERIES NEW APPOINTMENTS

DB Breweries has appointed several new staff and welcomed back from secondment a former employee.

Greg Murphy joins DB as national sales manager, DB Hospitality, from Yellow where he was national sales manager, Digital Media. Prior to this he was acting sales director for the Yellow Pages Group.

Also new to DB is Paul Millward in the position of national retail manager. Millward joins DB having most recently worked in commercial excellence and sales force optimization roles in Europe. He also worked for SCA and has analyst and financial experience.

Gerald MacDonald has been appointed national accounts and wholesale manager within the DB Hospitality division. He has a strong trade marketing background and has worked for companies such as BP, Griffins, Rothmans and Toops.

Peter Crawshaw joins DB from the BNZ as sales development manager. Crawshaw’s role involves designing and delivering optimum learning and development strategies for DB’s commercial sales force.

Lydia Blatch has joined DB’s corporate affairs team as communications advisor from boutique consultancy, The PR Shop. She is now responsible for public relations activity for key DB brands including Export, Tiger and Tui.

As part of its international succession planning strategy, René de Monchy has returned to DB as marketing manager after nearly four years working for Heineken International.

De Monchy was most recently Heineken marketing manager Western Europe based in Amsterdam. He now reports to DB’s general manager of marketing, Clare Morgan.

All appointments are based at DB’s head office at Waitemata Brewery.
