Training and Professional Development
Public relations is a complex function that demands a variety of skills and competencies. Practitioners in public relations and communications management are encouraged to continually enhance and develop their skills through the PRINZ professional development programme, RiVER. PRiNZ actively promotes and sustains practitioner education through our own professional development seminars, tailored training provision for organisations and by staging regular meetings and events designed to help everyone in the field maintain and enhance their knowledge and skills. All are welcome to attend PRINZ seminars and workshops and members qualify for reduced rates. In addition, PRINZ is heavily involved in providing lecturers for, and advising on, the public relations elements of communications oriented courses at a number of tertiary institutions.
