Global Alliance
PRINZ is a founding member of the Global Alliance for Public Relations and Communication Management.
The Global Alliance is a framework for collaboration between national, regional and international public relations associations with a mission to enhance the public relations profession and its practitioners throughout the world.
The Alliance was formally established in Chicago, Illinois, USA, on 25 October, 2000, after a Public Relations World Congress sponsored by the Public Relations Society of America and the International Public Relations Association.
The Global Alliance is now firmly established as a permanent forum for discussing issues that affect our profession on a global scale. The strength truly is in our work but also in our numbers. With over 55 associations representing close to 150,000 members from around the world, a lot has already been achieved. Efforts to establish a global protocol on ethics are on track for full ratification by all members by the end of 2006. We have adopted a three year strategic planning plan which respects collective aspirations for the Alliance.
