Become a PRINZ member
PRINZ's paid up membership comprises public relations professionals working in commerce and industry, consultancies, local and central government and other community or business organisations.
Membership types and fees
Associate subscription – The PRINZ standard membership which includes the full list of benefits. For those joining from outside of Auckland and Wellington, the Regional Associate Subscription offers the same benefits at a discounted cost.
Corporate group subscription – For organisations and consultancies with four or more staff members subscribing to PRINZ, the Corporate group subscription offers a discounted rate.
Student subscription – Available to full time tertiary students at a largely reduced price.
Affiliate subscription - For a person who has a general interest in public relations, who undertakes unpaid voluntary work in the industry, or is currently a member of the Institute and wishes to maintain their membership in retirement. Applications should be by email to the Chief Executive simone_bell@prinz.org.nz
Overseas subscription – For those wishing to join PRINZ abroad, the Overseas subscription is available at a discounted rate.
Member subscription – Member status is achieved either through passing the Accredited in Public Relations examination (APR) or by agreement through the PRINZ executive group.
Fellow subscription – The College of Fellows are an elected group of experienced practitioners. Each year the College considers those who have been Members for 10 years as candidates for induction. There are currently 67 Fellows.
Life subscription – This is awarded to those senior communicators and long time PRINZ members who have made an outstanding contribution to both the industry and the Institute. PRINZ currently has 11 Life Members.
