PRINZ provides significant opportunities for companies and organisations looking to reach public relations and communication practitioners and those working in related fields.

We have a growing membership of over 1,250 individual members at all levels of experience, in all fields of expertise and from all over New Zealand. Our client base also includes many more individuals that participate regularly in our events and training programs at local level.

Our membership network:

Is highly educated - tertiary education is now a given for practitioners, and many have post-graduate qualifications
Is predominantly female - over 70% of practitioners are women, reflecting the wider industry trend
Is based primarily in Auckland (46%) and Wellington (28%) but with strong representation across the rest of the country
A good mix in terms of age and seniority – 175 hold the status of Member, Fellow or Life Member (being APR qualified or having at least 10 yrs membership and recognized by the peers for their contribution), 56% of our members are under 40.
Trust us and stay with us - over 90% of members renewed their subscription this year and last – and we are showing 10% growth year on year.

National Conference

The premier Public Relations and Communications event in the business calendar. In June professional communication practitioners gather to hear international speakers, attend practical workshops and exchange ideas at a range of social events. The role of Primary Conference Sponsor is available, together with sponsorships for sessions, workshops, the welcome Cocktail Event and the Awards Dinner.

PRINZ Awards

For over 30 years, the PRINZ Awards have demonstrated excellence in PR practice across consultancy and in house led campaigns, in all areas of PR and Communication. The National Awards culminate in a high profile presentation evening at the PRINZ National Conference. Promotion program begins in November, and over the following months a number of promotions and events lead up to the Awards announcements. Sponsorships are available for events, award categories, pre-events and all promotional materials.

The PRINZ website receives almost a million hits a year and is optimised for searches around public relations, communications and related key words. Our page regularly features as one of the top three sites in Google. The traffic to our site includes institute members, non-member public relations practitioners, clients and, potential clients looking for information on the industry.

Home Page Banner ad

Book an advertisement for at least one month at the low cost of $750 a month for non member and $500 per month for members. Specifications for the Banner are 120 x 600 pixels provided in a GIF (animated or still) , jpeg or animation (swf).

Section Banner ads

A banner ad can be booked to appear on specific pages within this site. The cost of each section is $250 a month and pages must be booked for a minimum period of three months. Subject to availability.

Online PR Consultancy Guide

The PRINZ website offers a listing of the PR Consultancies across New Zealand with their contact details and specialisations. This is available under the 'Employers' section. The cost of placing your profile is @100 + GST for a period of 12 months.

Free Listing

In recognition of their services to the PRINZ, certain companies will be offered free listings and recognition in various sections of the PRINZ site. Companies eligible for these listings include sponsors of PRINZ events and activities.

Registered PR Consultancies

This section is free to all PRINZ Registered Consultancies (RCG) and is included in the cost of RCG membership. Listings include full details, including email addresses and links to their Web sites. The RCG search page received 12,703 hits in July*. The search engine allows prospective clients seeking the skills of a consultancy to drill down into the specialty and industry. Educational Institutions

Our educational resources receive 30,842* hits in July. Various universities, training colleges, research institutions and other companies or organisations may be listed from time to time at the discretion of the PRINZ National Office.

Magazine / Direct Mail

Voice magazine is PRINZ main vehicle for communicating to the business community – printed quarterly, 2,500 copies are mailed to a broad cross section of senior executives in New Zealand.

A monthly electronic newsletter, eReport, is sent to Members – this is another excellent opportunity for targeted advertising.
