VALE MALCOLM ‘MIDGE’ BOYLE, Fellow PRINZ
My lasting memory of Malcolm is a person larger than life in every respect. Besides guiding the careers and shaping the thought processes of a multitude of PR practitioners in New Zealand and overseas, he had that rare gift of being able to take people along with him, with humour.
PRINZ is sad to report that Malcolm Boyle has passed away. Malcolm was one of the founders of Baldwin Boyle Group, a PRINZ Fellow and mentor to numerous public relations professionals over the years. He will be sadly missed by friends and colleagues throughout the public relations industry.
With our wonderful communications advisor moving overseas, we are looking for a new person to join our small, friendly team in Parnell, Auckland. The role is full time, working from 8.30am-5.30pm, Monday to Friday.
Claudia Macdonald of Mango, Gina McKinnon of Fuse and Simon Kenny of McDonald’s NZ have been awarded the prestigious Supreme Award for their entry ‘Crave and rave – golden praise drives results for golden arches’ at the annual PRINZ Awards.
At last night’s Annual General Meeting of the Public Relations Institute of New Zealand (PRINZ), Wellington public relations practitioner Katie Mathison was voted President for the Institute.
